It’s no surprise that business owners everywhere appreciate the clean, professional look that a properly sealcoated parking lot can deliver. But sealcoating does more than just return your parking lot to its original deep black. It can extend its life and make it safer.

Materials Used
for Commercial Sealcoating

Refined Coal Tar Sealcoating

Often referred to as “CTPE” (or coal tar pitch emulsion) the advantage of refined coal tar is that it is a stable molecular structure. This means it offers great resistance to the elements, chemicals, and solvents. First introduced in the 1950s, refined coal tar has been used for many years to protect off-street pavements. In fact, due to its resistance to chemicals, refined coal tar sealcoating is required by the Federal Aviation Administration due to its natural resistance to harsh chemicals, like jet fuel.
